Let's keep the reading fun going in July with "Summer Book Bingo"! Kids, tweens, and teens come pick up your bingo card on July 3rd and get started reading your way to a BINGO! Once you have a "Bingo" on your card bring it in for a prize!

Apsen Black award-winning singer/songwriter and educator will be at the Library on Thursday morning to do an interactive musical and cultural presentation. The kids will discover historical and modern aspects of cowboy and cowgirl life through active listening, call and response, role-play, rhythmic body movements, singing, hand instruments, and dance. The program is aimed at boys and girls, toddler to 10 years old, and their families. Come join in on the fun!

Aspen Black award-winning singer/songwriter and educator will be at the Library on Thursday night to do a program that introduces Tweens and Teens to the basics of playing guitar in a fun, easy format. Specially tuned and marked guitars (along with extra ukuleles acting as guitars) are provided. All students begin with easy songs, then are given the option to continue playing with basic skills or add more chords and learn an easy rock riff. A mock rock concerts, featuring the students, wraps up the fun. This program is aimed at beginners, but tweens, and teens who already play several chords well on the guitar are welcome to bring their guitars and jam along. This is going to be a fun evening!
