During the month of November Strawheart the Library Scarecrow will be hiding all over Burkburnett. Each day we will post a picture of him somewhere in town. The first person to find him and bring him back to the library will receive a prize!

Thursday2nd Annual Halloween Carnival
Come and join us for our 2nd annual Halloween Carnival! We will have games, prizes, candy walk, stories, photo op area, and a BOUNCE HOUSE! Due to the over whelming attendance for last years carnival we have spread out to the outside to accommodate everyone who would like to come and have so much fun!

TuesdayPumpkin Decorating Contest
Come join us for our first ever pumpkin decorating contest! All month long you can bring in your decorated pumpkin to be on display here at the library! Judging will be on the 31st of October and winners will be notified! Kids, tweens, and teens are all invited to participate and your pumpkin be any size big or small! We are asking that you decorate and NOT CARVE so that they can be displayed all month!

The Burkburnett Library will be celebrating 50 years of service to the community by having an Anniversary Tailgate Cook off! Bring your PREPARED appetizer or dessert and come celebrate with us! Cash prizes for appetizer and dessert entry winners will be given. There will also be fun and games for the kids as well. Watch for more details on this great event!
