TuesdayJust a Guys Night
Guys you have been asking for a night just for you, well we have one planned! We hope it will be one you will enjoy. Jim Morgan has agreed to do a Carving Class with the guys. He will be demonstrating carving techniques and then you will be doing a project of your won. come on out on Tuesday night, and you may just find yourself a new hobby or you can come for just some guy time!

ThursdayGuitar Like a Star
Aspen Black award-winning singer/songwriter and educator will be at the Library on Thursday night to do a program that introduces Tweens and Teens to the basics of playing guitar in a fun, easy format. Specially tuned and marked guitars (along with extra ukuleles acting as guitars) are provided. All students begin with easy songs, then are given the option to continue playing with basic skills or add more chords and learn an easy rock riff. A mock rock concerts, featuring the students, wraps up the fun. This program is aimed at beginners, but tweens, and teens who already play several chords well on the guitar are welcome to bring their guitars and jam along. This is going to be a fun evening!

ThursdaySinging Cowgirl
Apsen Black award-winning singer/songwriter and educator will be at the Library on Thursday morning to do an interactive musical and cultural presentation. The kids will discover historical and modern aspects of cowboy and cowgirl life through active listening, call and response, role-play, rhythmic body movements, singing, hand instruments, and dance. The program is aimed at boys and girls, toddler to 10 years old, and their families. Come join in on the fun!
