It's that time of year again when we will be having our annual Halloween Carnival! Bring the kids to the Library from 5:30-7 for a fun night of games, treats, photos, and carnival fun! The Bounce House will be here once again to entertain along with a variety of other activities. You will need to have your child bring a bag for all their treats and prizes that they will be taking home. They may wear costumes if they wish, but it is not mandatory. It promises to be a night of Spootacular fun for everyone!

Ladies you've seen us do it for all of the kids and now it's your turn! Ladies Night Clue! This is limited to 12 ladies, so hurry and RSVP you a spot! I will be sending out your character so that you can dress the part if you want to, it is not required! You can also bring snacks to share with the other ladies and make it a mystery dinner, again that is completely up to you! Can you figure out who dunnit before anyone else.

This year the Teen Read Week theme is "Written in the Stars" and in honor of we will be holding "Book in a Jar" contest. Teens you be able to come by the library examine the jar with a book in it and submit your guess, I will let teens guess ONCE per day until Friday October 12th at noon, and then a winner will be chosen from those teens with a correct guess. We will also be holding a "Written in the Stars" Galaxy painting event, you will need to choose your favorite quote from a book and bring it with you, the library will supply canvases, paint, supplies, and sticky letters. This will be October 11th from 4-5!

October 2nd: Overdrive Training (11:30-12:30) Come join us to learn about our ebook lending system so you can check our books on your device-anywhere, anytime. Bring in whatever device you might have and we will help you get it set up. October 3rd: Basic Computer Training (10-6) Come in at any time with your computer needs and questions. One of our staff will help you better understand your computer. If you have a lap top and you need help with learning some basic skills on that device, bring it in and we will help you navigate through your system. October 4th: Overdrive Training (4:30-5:30) If you were unable to attend the Overdrive training earlier in the week here is your chance to come in at a later time. October 5th: Digital Newspaper Training (11-12) We want to introduce to you our newest resource which is our digital newspaper. There are limited volume, but still a great asset to our community. Come see how to access it on your computer from the comfort of your home.
