September 3rd is U.S. Bowling League Day, so what better way to celebrate than to have a Bowling Night with our kids. Parents bring your kids 2nd grade and younger to the Library for a fun night. We will have a story about bowling, make a bowling craft, do some bowling down the aisles of the Library, and then end the evening with a bowling treat.

September is Library Card Sign-up Month. We will be working hard this month to get as many people as we can to come in and sign-up for library cards. All those who come in during the month of September and sign-up for a library card will receive a Library tote filled with library goodies. This includes adults, teens, and children. This month our tween and teens will come together to have a good time. They will be going on a Photo Scavenger Hunt. WE will be dividing them up into teams and they will be going out in search of their items. Each team will have an adult leader to guide them in their search. All items will be found in the downtown area, so we will be walking from the Library in search of those treasures. Parent please come by the Library to sign a permission slip for your tween and teen to participate. The permission slip must be turned in before they can participate since we will be leaving the Library for short while. Pictures will be taken of those items and the team that returns to the Library first with all the correct pictures wins the grand prize.
